Joel is a creative consultant and videographer. He has been in the wedding business for the last 8 years.With a fun story telling style, and an eye for small details - Joel loves every moment of creating unique, vibrant and exciting wedding content.Rachel is a writer and photographer. She brings her own keen eye to the table, sees things that others miss and balances Joel's creative flare very nicely.They got married in 2022 and have been a dynamic photo/video duo for weddings and events ever since.Together, they are a powerhouse of creativity and fun, and they are passionate about creating magical memories that are everlasting.Storybook Weddings is under the umbrella of Tempero Creative, which covers a wide range of digital content and creative solutions for any occasion.

Common questions and answers
| How long are the highlights videos? |

| Most of our highlights videos range from 3-8 minutes. It often depends on how long we are there for the day and how many details you would like us to ensure are included. As of 2025 we have stopped selling specific length products, as we were often gutted to be cutting out awesome shots from the day. If you have a specific length in mind we are happy to oblige to this, however, we kindly request you also purchase a screensaver add-on from us. This is to ensure you get to see as much of the footage we get on the day. |
| Can I choose the music for our video? |

| Music lisencing can be a tricky thing. We endeavour to accomodate ideas wherever possible, but sometimes it just won't be possible. We will work this through with you during our initial discussions, we love having the couple be a part of our creative process! |
| Half day vs. full day? |
|---|
| A full day shoot means we're there when the girls start getting their hair and makeup done and we finish when we feel we have enough of the evening dancing. A half day typically looks like either morning prep + ceremony or ceremony + reception. If you're after just a ceremony shoot this will still be considered a half day. |
| Will you travel? |

| For sure! Travel fees will apply for anything outside of Christchurch. We can quote for this on request. Send us anywhere you want us to be! |
| Who does video and who does photo? |

| Typically Joel is shooting video and Rachel is on photography. If you order just video or photo then we will both cover it for you on the day. Sometimes we may swap for specific moments or ideas. We're happy to report that we can be quite flexible and can take either on in a moments notice. |
| Deposit? |
|---|
| A deposit of at least 1/3rd of your overall quote will be required after booking. This is to protect us from any sudden cancellations. |
